We had nicely set Pentair stand and met owners and brewers of significant number of craft breweries all around Asia Pacific region. The Institute of Brewing & Distilling was founded in London in 1886 by a group of ten scientists involved in Malting and Brewing. In 1952 a number of members of the Institute resident in Australia petitioned the Council of the Institute which gave approval in principle to the formation of a Section in Australia.
Today, the aim of the Institute is the advancement of education, especially in the sciences of brewing, fermentation and distilling and to be recognised as the world’s leading members’ organisation for the advancement of education and training in the science and technology of brewing, distilling and related industries.
The Asia Pacific Section is very active in providing a range of services to its members. The major activities include Conventions which are held every two years – normally 5 day events attended by people involved the brewing industry around the world.
